This piece, coming from a production company for marketing, outreach, and more offers insight into an area that I’m otherwise resistant to the involvement of AI within, those being creative fields. While not terribly connected directly to their own business practices, the other named fields of use can connect to industries they may partner with in content production.
Nonetheless, this piece discusses both the advantages of Black Box models, such as the ability to more expediently process data and interpret patterns in otherwise unmanageable swaths of data. Equally so, they raise the concerns that these models, as they are opaque, result in the same issues that have been raised elsewhere throughout this course, such as on matters justice, fairness, and equality, and even simple explicability.
