In this BBC article, Google’s Chief Executive, Sundar Pichai, warns users not to trust everything AI says. Pichai views AI as a tool that should be used alongside other tools, such as Google. Although Google already has an AI overview, it still has the potential to display false information. Pichai claims that the company plans on updating the system to relay more factual information. However, many AI companies have argued that Google should not urge users to use other tools, especially since many AI systems warn users that not everything listed is correct.
