In what was once 1,200 acres of rural Indiana farmland, Amazon now plans to build 30 data super-centers, which will consume enough electricity annually to power a million homes. This infrastructure project will serve as Amazons grand entry into the AI industry, even though it has been in the works for over a decade.
This article is important because it shows many ways in which these large tech companies are intertwining and working on AI projects. As consumers we should be conscious or the corporations we give our information and money to.
