This video, which was just posted today, announces the arrival of a new actress in Hollywood, except she doesn’t exist. Tilly Norwood is a completely AI-generated actress, created to be “the new Scarlett Johannson”. Actual living celebrities in Hollywood, everyone from Emily Blunt to Whoopi Goldberg, are outraged by this and the fact that the fake actress could be getting an agent. I share their disturbed attitude, as I certainly don’t don’t want a fake woman to be the next Scarlett Johanson. Tilly’s creator claims that she’s not a replacement, but she will be if she’s going to get actual acting roles in the place of real, living girls.

I liked this video and chose to post it, because it did a decent job presenting both sides, the opposing sides of Hollywood and Tilly’s creator, without showing bias themselves. Their presentation was very unlike CBS’s news anchors, who, although I agree with their obvious dislike of the news, did not simply present the story without bias.
