This article is about Britain, and how they are the first to produce an AI television host and air it on the news. This came about to show how AI is producing new things so fast. The creators of this idea wanted to show people how fast AI is advancing by creating an entirely AI news spokesperson. This was designed to get watchers to think critically about what they see on the news. The people at the station wanted people to question who and what they are seeing on the screen, instead of just watching idly by while someone speaks to them. This also showed how the gap between humans and AI is closing-and how in a few years this might become the new normal for us as we are watching the news.

I thought this article was really interesting and definitely got me nervous about how AI is going to be used in the future. Although Channel 4 made sure to be transparent to its viewers and tell them about all the AI generation, other channels may not have the same grace that they did in the moment. I think this can be a lesson for all of us to really think critically about what we read and watch nowadays. Not even news channels are barred from AI becoming a part of the normal way of doing things.
