I thought this was interesting, because Elon Musk, from what I remember several years back, said that AI will be the end of human civilization as we know it. This seems like he completely changed his mind, and maybe he did, but I think both predictions can happen. If we are no longer working, and bots are creating everything and sustaining us, then it’s the end of civilization, despite our comfort.
