This very recent article is one of many discussing the situation with conservative influencer Robby Starbuck, who sued Google after Meta AI made up a list of false crimes that he committed: including child rape and shooting.
I chose this article because it seems to be the most recent, and because the situation is shocking to me. I don’t think this is a result of merely hallucinations. This is, in my opinion, the obvious deliberate work of somebody on the AI’s end, using the bot’s influence to spread blatant lies. This gives me yet another reason to dislike AI; anyone can use it to create and spread entirely false information about anybody whose opinion they dislike.
